People need to feel comforted in knowing that other people share the same opinions and feelings as them, so they’re more content to not question their lives and beliefs. Pathetic, but true. I’m sure we’re all guilty of it, occasionally.

and i am definitely guilty of just that. however, the concept of making people with the opposite belief feel as if somehow they are inferior to you is just so unbelievable. its literally everywhere.. with appearances, religion, sexual orientation. but i think society fails to realize that it rears its head in this issue too. there are people in this world who can carry a normal and even extraordinary life with pot and alcohol incorporated. not everyone abuses these substances, and if used responsibly, they do not have the negative effects that everyone goes off about.
